Within the blink of an eye we are 17 days away from the big day! The end of June has been a whirlwind of things - a mixture of chill and busy days, but mainly busy, haha. Here's what I've been up to lately:
+ E and I got approved for an apartment! We were blessed to have found "the one" after two weeks of apartment searching. We'll be moving our stuff in next week and then begin living together the night our wedding. I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!
+ My Vang family had a fun photo shoot two weeks ago and it was so much fun to see the different personalities shine from each family member. I love the way the photos turned out!
+ We attended church for the first time and it felt so nice to be back! The limit is set to 50 people as of now, but I loved being back in the chapel with fellow believers.
+ E and I went to Lake Maconahay with a group of friends and did some overnight fishing. I know....who am I??? It was a fun trip and I actually really enjoyed my time there. I will say though.....my dad was right. From his own mouth I quote, "You suffer for nothing". Yeah, we got nothing but catfish, ha.
+ Going back to our apartment, E and I have started furniture shopping which has been so fun to do together! So far we've bought a TV stand, a sofa, and a loveseat! I know it'll take time to build our home together, but I'm so excited for that process. Next up, bed frame/headboard, dining table and coffee table! I've also been buying small things here and there such as a comforter, a bed set, and towels!
+ We got our marriage certificate! The process was way easier than we expected and we were out the door in 5-10 minutes. Y'all, I can't stop saying this but it's getting real!!!
+ There's been a lot of comforting going on. It's mainly just E comforting me, haha. I thank God each day for blessing me with E because E is truly a source of encouragement and truth for me.
+ E and I have gone to play volleyball about 3 times so far and it's been a great source of exercise for us.
+ Obviously, it hasn't always been good things happening. There's been some very dark moments for me these past couple of weeks, but I am ever so grateful for the friends that God brings to me. I am indebted to the compassion, understanding, and encouragement they show me.
+ I've been using The Ordinary Niacinamide serum and Alpha Arbutin serum for the past couple of weeks and I love the changes I'm seeing in my skin. My dark spots have lightened and to my happy disbelief my skin is less oily - miraculous!
+ Orange and lavender have been my go-to for sleep support! I swear, it's magic! I'm already a deep enough sleeper, but this blend just makes my sleep even more soothing and relaxing. I think this is my favorite blend so far!
There's so much more to add on but honestly, it's been such a blur that I don't remember much, haha. The plan is to post one more blog before I say "I Do" - eeeeek!
Such exciting updates!!!
