Day Five // A Day in the Life

Wednesday, April 22, 2020

Ever since the Stay at Home order, I’ve made it a habit to crack my Bible and devotion open before I get out of bed. I used to do this at night, but I love starting my day off with the Word. I’m currently going through 2 Kings and Jeremiah and I’m lovin’ it. It truly is like reading a story, except it’s all real! I also have an Old Testament commentary on the side to help me understand historical/cultural background and it’s helped me grow in my knowledge of the Word!

After I wash up, I always, always eat. Priorities. This has been my favorite go-to breakie. You only need:

1 Avocado
1 Egg
Salt and Pepper
Sriracha (optional)

Workflow. I like to start the first half of my work day sitting here. I love how the sun streams in.

I always create a “to-do” list the moment I sit down to work. Thankfully on this day, my list was short.

Workflow part two. This is where I start class by going live with my students and it’s been fun! I do this from 12:30 – 3:30, but it usually extends till 4:30 because I have other work to finish. Lol at the picture of me on my desk.

It’s always nice to break routine and have a fun convo with a friend! I swear, we’re practically the same person now, ha!

It was Nathan’s birthday and he requested Korean BBQ so Korean BBQ is exactly what we did! Happy 25th to my baby brother.

They’re the best. This was taken as we were cleaning up after dinner.

After dinner, I’m usually watching TV with my parents. Lately, I’ve been writing out my blog posts, but on this night I was on the phone with E. And after E, it’s bed time!
