Day Seven // Couch Potato or Fitness Friend?

Must I really be exposed like this? Am I allowed to say both? Haha!

While the discipline to head out to the gym is lacking, I love working out. Last summer, I worked out on a consistent basis with my friend, Cindy. We met up every morning and had a schedule: Monday – chest. triceps and abs, Tuesday – Legs and glutes, Wednesday – Back and biceps. Sometimes we would sub in a class and our favorite was Barre Class – sooooo fun!

I’m complicated though because deep down in my soul, I love lounging around and just chilling in bed or on the couch. The amount of hours I spend reading, watching Netflix, and blogging in bed is quite impressive.

If it’s possible to say so, I’m truly both! I love the progress I see when I work out and the energy I receive from exercising, but staying home and lounging on the couch is also so good for my soul. It’s really about finding a balance and I hope that this summer I can maintain healthy habits while finding “me” time at home!
