I'm the kind of person that prefers bad news first because I always like ending things on a positive note. So with that, let's start off with my 10 dislikes!
10 Dislikes
1. Seafood
Y'all, I just can't. I'm not fond of the fishy taste that comes with shrimp, crab, fish, mussels, and anything else derived from the sea.
2. Horror Movies
I used to think I liked them, but who was I kidding? The last horror movie I saw left me scarred for months so that's a door I prefer to keep closed.
3. Uggs.
I know this was on every girls shopping list, but I just can't bring myself to join the bandwagon! It's just not my thang.
4. Moths
I don't like insects in general, but moths just do it for me. When I was 15, a group of moths flew into my face........that's the story of my trauma.
5. Long Nails
This is more of a love/hate relationship because I like how my nails look when I grow them out and paint them, but man, keeping them long is a pain. Typing with long nails is something I can't be bothered to do. I've been cutting them short the past few months, but come summer I'll probably grow them out so I can paint them, ha.
6. Holes
More like trypophobia. I just can't. It's more than just a fear.....it's just so....repulsive. :(
7. Hmong Sausage?
What can I say? I'm just not a fan. I know everyone goes crazy, but I'm just not a part of that. I prefer smoked sausage so much more!
8. The Flu test
Yes, random. Painful, so much more. The flu test is not a joke, y'all! Imagine a doctor sticking a long ear swab up your nose for what feels like eternity......yeah, it's as torturous as it sounds. I hope for the life of me that I'll never have to get tested for the flu again!
9. Crocs
I'll be the first to admit, I almost converted to buying my own pair when I tried them on for the first time. They are so comfortable, it's almost shocking! But, for the sake of vanity, I choose not to buy them.
10. Jenny from Forrest Gump.
I just finished re-watching this a few days ago and my conclusion is the same as ever: Jenny is truly the worst. :(
Now, here are 10 things I like, yay!
1. Sleep
This is a hobby for me, I'm not even kidding. I love the feeling of waking up and feeling so refreshed!
2. Drive In Theaters
I would choose this over any typical theater. I love sitting and laying in the comfort of my own car with my own snacks provided. I love that while you're in public with a large group of people, you still have your own space to watch comfortably. Definitely good for a date night!
3. The Oregon Coast
I've been to many beaches, but nothing ever compares to the Oregon Coast. It is stunningly beautiful and the cities by the beach are so cute and homey.
4. Celebrations
Whether they're weddings, graduation parties, baby or bridal showers, I love coming together and celebrating people!
5. Memes and Gifs
I find myself spending too much time looking up and tagging people in memes, but I can't help but find them so dang funny! I also love sending gifs to my friends because nothing expresses me better than those!
6. Hugs
Nothing makes me feel as loved as a simple hug from a loved one.
7. Spicy Food
Not a day goes by when I don't eat something spicy. I love spicy food - spicy noodles, spicy pickles, spicy soups, spicy sauces, spicy cucumbers with fish sauce, spicy chips.....you name it.
8. Massages
If you massage me, I promise I will love you every day for the rest of my life, haha. Most of my tension and knots come from my job so massages bring me so much relief and relaxation.
9. Exploring New Places
I love planning trips to places I've never been to! When I lived in Korea, I planned trips for Tim and I almost every weekend because I wanted to see and experience everything!
10. Old Rom Coms
I'm generally not a rom com kinda gal, but I love the nostalgia I get whenever I watch a 90s or early 2000s rom com. Here are some of my favs: While You Were Sleeping, The Wedding Date, 50 First Dates, The Wedding Planner, Miss Congeniality, She's All That and The Proposal.
What are some thing you like and dislike?
