It's my favorite season of the year - Christmas! Though celebration this year will be different, it will be celebrated fully this year with the reminder of Jesus Christ, our Savior's, birth!
+ One of the most exciting things to do was buying our Christmas tree and holiday decor! While I am deeply committed to Home Goods and Hobby Lobby, I found the most affordable Christmas decor at Walmart and it was just as cute I decided on spending less money on Christmas decor since E and I are still in our apartment, but do plan to get bigger and grander things for our future house!
+ I rediscovered one of my favorite Christmas songs - "I Celebrate the Day" by Reliant K. I'm honestly not a fan of Reliant K, but I love, love this song.
+ Another favorite Christmas song I've been listening to is "O'Come, O'Come Emmanuel". It's been on repeat!
+ Christmas shopping has been fun and also challenging, haha! It's almost as if the older you get, the harder it is to buy gifts for the people you love! I always want to be intentional with my gifts and while it makes it harder, it's so worth it!
+ Despite how different Christmas will be celebrated this year, I am particularly thankful that I still have the opportunity to spend the holidays with my family. I know that my parents are still adjusting to sharing me, but nonetheless, I am grateful that we all live in the same state and that we can celebrate together.
+ My friend Priscilla was so kind to drop off Snickerdoodle cookies at our place this week and her thoughtful gesture makes me treasure our friendship even more.
+ It has been coooold here in Colorado, but a part of me doesn't mind because it adds to the Christmas cheer!
Despite the holiday business, I am also just relishing this season with loved ones. Because of Him, we have the ultimate gift.
