Wedding Favorites

E and I received our wedding photos two weeks ago and we were blown away with how great our pictures turned out to be! Of course, we already knew JCYang Photography would go above and beyond, but we are just so in love with how they captured the genuine joy and celebration on our wedding day! These photos are my entire heart and bring me back to the our truly, perfect day.

I love every single photo, but here are a few of my favorite photos and memories from our special day:

I never would have thought to take pictures here, but Cat suggested taking a few snapshots here and the photos turned out beautifully! She has such an eye for lighting.

Obsess doesn't even come close to describing how much I love this gorgeous shot of our rings with my wedding bouquet.

These are some of my most treasured wedding pictures. I know that the days leading up to the wedding became more and more difficult for my mom and on my wedding day, I truly saw how much joy she carried, but also saw the sadness she felt because she had to give me away. The last two pictures were taken when my mom asked to pray for me. It was truly the most sad and sweetest moment ever.

This was also such a sweet moment with my girls!

I was so shy during our first look! But again, such a sweet moment!

E and I decided to do a our "personal" vows privately. While E and I chose to do the traditional vows during the ceremony because we believe that they hold the truest meaning, we also wanted to share a moment between the two of us. The intimacy experienced while we read our promises to one another is a moment I'll remember for the rest of my life.

I just have to say, we had the best wedding party ever!

The bouquets were some of my favorite things about our wedding!

Gosh, these girls are stunning!

This is the perfect depiction of our relationship. Love it.

Mr and Mrs.

While weddings are definitely bittersweet, they are so rewarding in that families become one!

Oh, my heart. My dad will always have my heart.

If you were to ask me what my favorite part of the wedding was, I wouldn't be able to give you an answer, but these are definitely a few of my favorites from our ceremony! The exchanging of our vows and rings was such a memorable moment. Every vow spoken was from the heart.

Our kiss! As soon as we went back inside from the ceremony, Heaven told me, "Dang girl, what a kiss!" Haha. E definitely did not hold back! It was a lot longer than I expected :)

The best maid of honor speech - straight from the heart.

I was so shy during our cake cutting because all eyes were on us, hehe, but it was a fun moment!

The decor turned out so much more beautifully than I could've ever imagined. I am so thankful for Maiyer and her loving heart!

E and I can't express how thankful we are for our cousins Josh and Cat. They are such a skilled and talented couple. Not only did that take our photos, but they made our invitations and our cross.

This unity cross is so special to me because my dad built it for me. There's nothing like a father's love.

These are some of the best! Our send off simply felt surreal. As cheesy as it sounds, I truly felt the love in the air - love from friends and family, near and far. We are so blessed.

E and I can't stop saying this, but our wedding day was perfectly orchestrated by God. Covid came along and made things more difficult for us. We had to make our fair share of hard choices and there were many, many tearful nights. At the end of the day, our knees were bent in prayer and we had no choice but to surrender every plan and decision to the Lord. Praise God for His faithfulness when we were faithless and in doubt.

At the beginning of wedding planning, I had a vision of my entire wedding. I also knew that realistically, it wouldn't happen and to be completely honest, I was perfectly at peace with that. I was content with the budget God provided for us and venue that He gave us.The story of my wedding planning is a testimony I will continue to retell over and over again because despite having to cancel our venue, cut our guest list, and change our date, at the end of the day, God gave me exactly what I desired for my wedding. Not that it's all about what I desire, but instead, to illustrate how God has given me what I don't deserve. I'm still in awe at how God pieced everything together: we wanted an outdoor wedding, God provided. We desired a much more intimate wedding - God allowed us 200. We prayed that the rain wouldn't appear and that the sun would be hidden - God gave us exactly that. My heart is overwhelmed at the gracious hand of God and we thank Him every day for our unity that was orchestrated and set apart for His good and perfect will.
